Welcome to the part where I talk about myself...
As you allready saw my name is Sandra and I live in Belgium. I was born in the 80's from a Belgian mom and an Italian dad. My parents divorced when I was 6 and I've lived with my mum. I have a really small family : my mother and my grandmother. Also a little bit of Italian family remains in Belgium like my father. What I heritaded from my Italian side ? My strong italian character, my love for the sun and meditereanian food and my love for italian boys... Off course now you'll understand why the love of my life also is Italian. Which makes us a perfect mixed European couple !!
I grew up in Brussels, more exactly in Anderlecht, where I spend all of my youth years and where I went to school. I still have all my friends and family living there now.
I've always been wondering what life had coming for me, but I knew that my future would'nt be as common as anybody else. I've always had that feeling that I would leave this cold and raining country one day.
I made a lot of difficult choices in my life starting in my schoolyears. I was every parents dream student, perfect grades, fast learner,... Everybody saw me as a really talented student who would go to university and become an architect, or something else that would make a lot of money.... ;-)
When I graduated I decided that I didn't wanted to live the simple life : getting a job, getting maried and starting having kids...
Not for me !
So I left my home country and started working as animator in holiday resorts around the world.
I did this for 5 years, untill I met my soulmate, Daniel.
Now we live happy and well in Belgium and I'm working for a travel agency since 10 years now.
Our love brought us a beautiful son 4 years ago called Gabriel who took over our passion for travelling. Being more at home now I've come to find me a new passion for cooking as well.
So I updated my blog from only travel to cook's & travel's in 2017.
Januari 2018, a new member entered our family.... Axel was born on the 9th. With my second baby boy we become a pretty little family. Doesn't change the will to travel though
