Hi everyone,

Here's an unexpected turn on our trip....

We were supposed to be flying over the US like, right now, but instead we're back in a hotel in vegas for an extra night !! Our flight got cancelled and we're only flying off tommorow instead of today.

So one more day in Vegas !!

Finally here's some news from the States....

I suppose you're wondering why I haven't wrote the last days, well, here in Vegas everything has to be payed ! And it's not given, so I've left a day out of our story...

Now, as you know yesterday we left Lone Pine (the little and really dull Lone Pine) and drove through the great and wonderfull Death Valley...

This is Badwater, the lowest point. A real salt desert.....

Now we're in the city of lights and extravaganza !!

This city in unbelievable !! You wake up with the sounds of the slots, and you go sleep with them as well. The hotels are palaces where you can spend the whole day just in one of them !

But the highlight of the day was off course our helicopter trip to Grand Canyon !

Can you believe they picked us up in a limo !!

Now we're of to bed and dreaming about all the wonders this trip showed us !

Tommorow is our last day here and we'll try to win some money back !

I'll pick up a show too, The Lion King, before leaving this town and this country and heading back to good old Belgium.

Day 4 - Howdy !

Hello my friends !

Here we are now in the middle of the sierra nevada !

We had a great night in Mammoth lakes and this morning we went to see the strange Mono Lake...

Now we're staying for the night at Lone Pine, home of all the best western movies ! We met a man who is crazy about his harmonica's

 We ended up tonight in the city saloon !!!!

Tommorow we move along to Death Valley with the final stop .... VEGAS !!!

Day 3 - Too much for the eyes to take .....

What a day....

Our eyes got a lot to take today ! Yosemite is a wonderfull place .... A place where you can really come to peace, where it's quiet and beautifull, where Mother Nature has done a wonderfull job...

We started our day by taking the road through Fish Camp and arrived at our first stop : Mariposa grove & it's giant sequoia trees. We feld really small....

You see what I mean ??

Anyway, after that we continued our road to Yosemite Village and were blown away by all the things we saw !! First of all, sun !!! Blue sky and sun for the first time since we arrived !!

But off course not only by that....

This parc is unbelievable !! Every corner, every turn you take, something new and beautiful and completely different comes your way and takes your breath away !!

Now we arrived in this little village Mammoth Lakes wich is a ski village in the winter but is very quiet for the moment.

We arrived at our hotel and got a huge suite !!! Two rooms, two bathrooms, a huge living room with open kitchen....you name it, it is there !

Day 2

Hi everybody !! Welcome back to our adventures.

Today there is'nt much to talk about because we spended most of the time in the car driving to Oakhurst.

We just arrived in this beautiful little village at the entrance of Yosemite !

Perhaps I can show you some more pics of our stay in Hollywood !

Did I tell you we also visited the homes of the stars !!!! Waiting for one to come out, but it didn't happen ;-(

Today we passed Santa Barbara on the road. It was raining, raining & raining some more, so we decided to leave the Pacific Coast Highway (snif, snif) and continue directly to Oakhurst.

First full day in LA and allready full of memories !!

A walk on the Walk of Fame, a stroll on Rodeo drive and a cocktail on Sunset, we did it all...
